PowerVote!

Let's get excited about this. Anyone want to be the contact person/organizer from our group?

Power Vote is a nonpartisan campaign of the Energy Action Coalition, the same folks that brought you Power Shift 2007 and the Campus Climate Challenge, to build youth power and demand bold solutions to global warming during the election season and beyond!

http://PowerVote.org

We all know that 2008 is a pivotal election year, and that everyone is abuzz with the national election. Together, we can use Power Vote to build up your group, develop new leaders and put extra power behind what you’re working on, while connecting to the national movement. And, we’re not going to stop at the election. We’re going to hold our newly elected leaders accountable by hosting Power Shift 2009 during the first 100 days in Washington DC. Power Shift 2009 will be a conference of historic magnitude, and bring together thousands of people to hold our leaders accountable and demand immediate solutions. With your help, our numbers and presence will be huge!
